It fermented with some full clusters with indigenous yeasts in oak vats and matured in oak foudres and bocoyes for 16 months

this is clearly very classy and textured if tight juice that will require 7 to 10 years to be at its best

Tardieu-Laurent, Hermitage Vintage:2001 Aux EchézeauxIn magnum Aromatic, gentle, floral and surprisingly a lightly herbal note to the nose. Delicate spice on the nose is more pronounced on the palate and all in all much richer. Elegant and surprisingly soft tannins already with the lightest of grip on the finish. A little nutty, quite perky and bright but finishes both sweet and savoury and long. (JH)
